Please be advised that AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors. Users are strongly encouraged to verify information through official government sources before making any decisions based on such content.

This will never include personal data, identifiable content and opinions, or user-generated inputs. By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that your anonymized in-app activity may be used for this purpose.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Broadside Inc, a Delaware corporation ("Broadside," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the application and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

2. CHANGES TO THE TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting and apply to all access to and use of the Services thereafter. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. You will be notified of any material changes via email and/or in-app notification.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as needed.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities occurring under your account
  • Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use or security breach that request our support on

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine that you have violated these Terms.

4. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT TERMS

4.1 Subscription Options

4.2 Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed through third-party provider Stripe

4.3 Subscription Management

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND LICENSE

All content, design, software, and technology on the platform are owned by Broadside or licensed to us.

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the Services

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Services

6. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to:

  • Disrupt, disable, or interfere with the Services or servers
  • Introduce malware or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
  • Use the platform to harass or harm other users

7. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

7.1 Nature of AI Content

The Services use artificial intelligence to generate summaries, tag content, and provide informational insights based on publicly available legislative information.

7.2 Verification Requirement

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI content is for informational purposes only
  • It may contain inaccuracies or outdated data
  • You are responsible for verifying summaries through official government sources before making decisions

7.3 Third-Party AI Providers

Broadside uses licensed third-party AI services (such as Grok by xAI) to generate summaries and tags. These systems do not process or receive any user input and are not interactive. All AI-generated outputs are derived from public data and are not tailored or solicited by the user.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” with no warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content or AI output.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Broadside and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, revenue, or business
  • Errors in content
  • Downtime or interruptions

This does not affect liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8.3 Assumption of Risk and Use “As Is”

You acknowledge and agree that you are using Broadside’s Services voluntarily and at your own risk. The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. You agree not to hold Broadside liable for any damages resulting from your use, or inability to use, the Services, including reliance on AI-generated summaries, legislative information, or any recommendations.

You further agree that Broadside is not liable for decisions you make based on information presented in the app, and you waive any right to bring claims against us related to such decisions.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, wars, utility failures, labor strikes, pandemics, or cyberattacks.

10. TERMINATION

10.1 Termination by Broadside

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

10.2 Grounds for Termination

Includes but is not limited to:

  • Breach of Terms
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal behavior
  • Non-payment
  • Extended inactivity

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Services ends immediately. Provisions related to ownership, liability, and dispute resolution will continue to apply.

11. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our Services may contain links to external websites or content not operated by us. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices, including those surfaced via AI systems.

11.1 Third-Party Data Sources

Broadside may incorporate and display data from public and licensed third-party sources beyond U.S. government databases. These sources may have their own terms of use and data availability restrictions.

12. BETA FEATURES

Features marked “beta,” “preview,” or “early access” are experimental and provided "as is." They may contain bugs or change without notice. Use of these features is at your own risk.

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

13.1 Arbitration Agreement

Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association.

13.2 Arbitration Details

  • The arbitration will take place in Delaware
  • A single arbitrator will be selected
  • The decision will be final and enforceable in any court

13.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.
